Join a workspace

  1. Click on the invitation link received by the owner of the workspace
  2. Register and create your master password (if you don't have a registration)
  3. Verify your email address
  4. Click Accept on the invitation screen to join the workspace

✏️ Invitation links are valid only for a range of email addresses specified by the workspace owner at the time of creating the invitation. If you would like to use a different email address for your registration, please contact the workspace owner and ask them to create a new invite link for you. 

 

Connect to a filespace

  1. Download and install the desktop app
  2. Log into your profile
  3. Click on the filespace in the dashboard 
  4. Click Connect

✏️ If you are not able to see any folders or upload any files it is possible that the owner of the filespace did not yet assign permissions to you. They can only assign permissions to you after you have joined the workspace. You might want to notify them that you have joined.

 

Using the filespace

LucidLink filespaces are seen by your workstation as a network drive. You can open any of your desktop applications that work with local files and import files into your projects directly from your filespace. You do not need to sync, download or copy the files anywhere else. 

To upload files all you need to do is drag and drop the files into the filespace. You can upload any folder that you have been given edit permissions to. 
When you start uploading, the desktop app will show you the remaining upload size. 

 

✨ Tip: On macOS you might need to adjust your Finder settings if you aren't seeing the filespace appear on your desktop.
