Build 2.7.5851
Important CLI Changes
Introduced a new 'lucid2' command line alias as a substitute to the 'lucid' alias. The 'lucid' alias will be deprecated in a future 2.x desktop app release. Once LucidLink 3.0 is officially launched, the 'lucid' alias will point to the LucidLink 3.0 CLI and the ‘lucid2’ alias will point to the LucidLink 2.x CLI. Please note the following about this change:
- Currently, there is no immediate impact on existing automation workflows as the ‘lucid’ alias will continue to point to the LucidLink 2.x CLI.
- The change will not take effect until the future LucidLink 3.0 desktop client is installed. Once installed, 'lucid' will point to the 3.0 CLI and ‘lucid2’ will point to the 2.x CLI.
- We strongly recommend all LucidLink 2.x automation scripts to be updated now to use 'lucid2', well in advance of the availability of the new 3.0 desktop client and 3.0 CLI. This gives partners and customers the opportunity to avoid future disruptions.
Improvements:
- [macOS] Added support for macOS 15 Sequoia. Updated LucidFS kernel extension - system reboot might be required.
- Significant performance enhancements when listing permissions for filespaces with a large number of users, groups, and permissions. In some cases, improvement gains may be several times faster.
Bug Fixes:
- In rare cases, trying to access the permissions/shares within the control panel was leading to an error.
- ArcGIS Pro project components were not being consistently locked.
