The following list of operating system requirements are guidelines: we have tested and qualified these minimum specifications and hardware configurations for the successful deployment and proper operation of our client; often specifically based on the minimum requirements of each individual vendor recommendation.
Please remember to review this topic regularly; as we will continuously revise and evolve our requirements, as more information becomes available.

Android
-
Android operating system version 10 or later.**
- The app can only be used with New LucidLink accounts that you can also access at app.lucidlink.com
- For a smooth experience, we advise that your device has at least 8GB of free storage space. If you have less space on your device, the app's performance might be affected.
- The LucidLink Android app does not support in-app viewing of media files. Therefore the ability to open/view files, with a specific extension, depends on the relevant third-party applications and their native capabilities.
- There are no specific requirements for the internet connection strength or type (mobile or Wi-Fi). However, we advise ensuring a stable and performant connection for uninterrupted playback of media files and fast uploads. We also recommend regularly monitoring your data usage, especially when working with larger files, so that it’s in line with your mobile plan.
iOS
-
iOS operating system version 16 or higher.**
- The app can only be used with New LucidLink accounts that you can also access at app.lucidlink.com
- We recommend having at least 5GB+ of the available disk space free plus additional space for file downloads at all times to ensure proper and fast function of the application.
- The LucidLink iOS app supports in-app as well as floating window viewing of media files with native iOS formats. Files can also be viewed via 3rd party apps, however, this requires a full file download from the filespace.
- There are no specific requirements for the internet connection strength or type (mobile or Wi-Fi), however, we recommend using the app with a stable and performant internet connection for a smooth experience as well as frequently checking mobile data usage for limited data plans.

Unlisted systems
Our best efforts are to support as many operating environments as possible: if your available system resources are not listed, it is not to say our client will not operate, moreover, we may not have qualified against the resources available to your system and will endeavor to provide our best efforts to support you.
Please assist us in field qualification of any system requirements unlisted above.
*Requires a suitable internet connection, which matches the IO expectations of liaising with remote data (not previously cached) from the cloud. i.e.. size of data, latency between user and data, all affect overall user experience - the client imposes no artificial limitations on the connectivity available, and will use as much, or as little connectivity available at any given period.
