How does my trial work?

  • Updated

This article explains everything you need to know about how your LucidLink trial works.

How long is my free trial?

Each workspace you create includes a 30-day free trial.

Are there any feature limitations during my trial?

During your trial, you can create one filespace, use up to 1TB of storage, and invite up to 10 members. However, you won't be able to create a filespace with your own storage provider or use the 'anyone in my organization' invite link.

How can I check if I’ve reached my trial limits?

If you are the owner of the workspace, you can monitor your usage in the Billing and invoices page.

How do I know when my trial will end?

As a workspace owner, you can check your remaining trial time on the Billing and invoice page.

Can I cancel my trial?

Your trial will automatically be canceled up to 24 hours before your trial end date. If you wish to manually cancel your trial, you can delete your workspace.

What happens when my trial ends?

If you haven’t chosen a plan by the end of your trial, your workspace will be suspended, and both you and the other workspace members will lose access to your filespace and data. Make sure to copy any essential data from your filespace if you don’t intend to continue with LucidLink.

You can restore your team's access by switching to a paid plan.

Can I get a trial extension?

If you need additional time to evaluate whether LucidLink is the right fit for you and your team, please reach out to us at billing@lucidlink.com. We will review your request and get back to you.

How do I switch to a paid plan?

You can select one of our self-serve plans by visiting the Billing and invoice page, choosing the plan you want, and providing your payment details. If you are an enterprise customer, contact our sales team, and they will help you find the best solution for your needs.

I decided to switch to a paid plan, but there's still time left on my trial; when will I be charged?

If you choose to upgrade to a paid plan while your trial is still in progress, your trial will be ended. You will be charged according to the plan you’ve selected, and your workspace will be switched to the new plan.

My trial has ended, and my workspace has been suspended. How can I regain access?

To regain access to your workspace after it has been suspended due to the end of your trial, you will need to select a paid plan.

If I'm a member of multiple workspaces and one of them gets suspended, will I lose access to the others?

No. You will continue to have access to the other workspaces that you are a member of.
