Change the data cache location from the CLI

  • Updated

In this article, you'll learn how to manage your LucidLink cache using the command line interface.

  1. If you would like to change your cache device, you first need to connect the SSD or NVMe disk and make sure it's formatted properly.
  2. Then run the following command: lucid config --set --DataCache.Location and then enter the path for the volume you'd like to use.
  3. Hit enter.
  4. This setting will take effect after you reconnect.

On macOS, you can drag that volume into the terminal window as a shortcut.

Or on Windows, you can assign a drive letter.
