Build 3.7.8387

New Features

Performance Optimizations for Local Cache

We have introduced optimizations to improve efficiency when applications read from or write data to the local cache in small chunks. These enhancements are noticeable in scenarios where applications work in frequent, smaller bursts, resulting in significantly faster performance across our supported platforms.

Performance gains include up to 50% faster reads and 80% faster writes on Linux, up to 40% faster reads and 20% faster writes on macOS, and up to 30% faster reads on Windows in this specific scenario.

Member Deactivation and Reactivation

Workspace administrators can now deactivate members to immediately suspend their access without removing them from the workspace. Deactivated members retain their folder structure, permissions, and account history and can be reactivated in a single step when needed.

Important Notes:

- Deactivation immediately terminates all active sessions for the affected member.

- A notification email is sent to the member when they are deactivated or reactivated.

- For members managed by SCIM: deactivation and reactivation are handled through SCIM only.

Clear Cache

“Clear Cache” replaces “Drop Cache”. It fully clears the local cache for a filespace and immediately returns disk space to your device. You can find it in the “Pinned Items” screen once connected to a filespace.

What happens when you run it:

- All pinned files are unpinned, you'll need to re-pin them after the command is completed if needed.

- Your full cache is cleared and disk space is freed up.

A confirmation prompt will appear before any changes are made.
